The treatment with threads is particularly indicated for mild and moderate ageing (elastosis or loss of contour) on the face. Preferred areas of application are above all the cheek area, lower eyelid-zygomatic region and forehead-brow region. But the neck, décolleté and upper arms are also new indications.
FACE CONTOURING
Today we use biocompatible resorbable thread materials Silhouette Soft ® for treatment. Silhouette Soft ® is a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment that redefines facial contours with immediate results During thread lifting, these threads are inserted at different depths into the skin under sterile conditions and with the help of a local anaesthetic. The initial result is that the skin is stretched - face a push-up effect. Later a connective tissue tightening reaction sets in, which is induced by the thread material itself and therefore has a lasting effect. The contour improves in a natural way. This result lasts for about 1.5–2 years.

How is the consultation hour organized?
The differentiated analysis of the changed or ageing face is our strength - and of course a prerequisite for successful treatment.
In a first step, we analyze your concerns together in detail and discuss the various options for correction, taking into account your wishes and ideas, with the input of our extensive experience in this area.
Points such as: "Does it really have to be an operation?" Or "Can you meet my wishes with these gentler measures?" Are discussed in detail, as are the exact technical processes and of course the possible risks and complications of a thread lifting.
You will also be informed in detail about all organizational details and formalities.
What happens during the thread lift on the day of treatment?
You will be received by our team at Clinic. The doctor will have another conversation with you to clarify any final questions and to plan the measures with drawings. The thread lift can usually be carried out under local anaesthesia without any problems. If you are very nervous, we can also give you a sedative.
Is a thread lift painful?
No, apart from the superficial injections for local anaesthesia. A pain reliever is usually not necessary.
What happens in the days after the surgery?
After the treatment, there may be individual retractions that spontaneously equalize after 3–6 days. It is important that you do not sleep on your face during the first few days after the thread lift. H. best lying on your back or slightly on your side. The prone position and complete lateral position should be avoided. A strong facial activity should also be avoided for the first 2 weeks, as is practised, for example, when singing in a choir or with certain relaxation techniques. You can then resume your normal activities and enjoy the result.
