Labiaplasty
Many women wish to trim down or shape the inner lips (labia minora) or outer lips (labia majora) of the vulva.
You can expect discretion and tact when consulting us on this issue. Surgery is a matter of trust - we are looking forward to welcoming you!
BE MORE SEXY

It is not uncommon for patients to approach us with a request for a correction in their genital area. The most common concern is the reduction in the size of the labia minora (also known as the inner labia). These women usually feel both aesthetically disturbed by these oversized labia and functionally by pain when cycling, horse riding or during sexual intercourse. These oversized labia may already be present in a young woman with the appropriate disposition. The second group of patients is made up of women who have given birth and whose labia continue to grow in size as they age.
Another concern is the rejuvenation of the vulva. It is mostly about the shrinkage of the large labia, which is aesthetically disturbing. Here we can build up the volume again with lipofilling or hyaluronic acid in order to make the vulva look plump and natural again.
We would be happy to advise you discreetly and considerately on this matter.

Treatment process
During the consultation
As a first step, we would ask you to explain to us what exactly is bothering you, what you would like to have corrected and what expectations you have of a labia surgery/labia reduction. According to your correction request and the circumstances that we find during the examination, we will work out an optimal concept for you and explain the treatment process as well as the risks and complications to you.
The procedure can be performed under local anaesthesia. A numbing cream is applied to the labia beforehand, which means that the necessary syringe can be applied practically painlessly.
What happens on the day of the operation?
Special preparatory measures are not required. You do not have to appear sober for this procedure.
In the morning you will be welcomed by our team in the Center Clinic. You will have another conversation with the surgeon to clarify any final questions. You will be given a tranquillizer so that you can experience the operation in a relaxed manner. In addition, a cream is applied to the labia so that the local anaesthetic can be set painlessly. The labia correction takes about 1 hour. You will then be looked after by our specialists in the wake-up ward.
Is a labia surgery/labia reduction painful?
Usually hardly. A slight burning sensation and a slight feeling of tension are described in the first few days. You will, of course, be provided with all the painkillers you need.
What happens in the days after the surgery?
You should shower the pubic region twice a day and then apply a disinfecting cream each time. You will receive the surgeon's mobile number so that you can get advice at any time if you are unsure. In order to keep swelling and bleeding to a minimum, sensible physical rest for the first 3–5 days after a labia surgery is absolutely necessary.
Intensive sporting activities should be avoided for 3–6 weeks.
When will I be socially acceptable again after a labia correction?
Usually immediately.
